SING FOR HOPE HEALING ARTS

Research-based creative performances, workshops, and curated cultural experiences that promote wellness, connection, and respite in hospitals, vaccination centers, long-term care facilities, hospices, and treatment centers. Our programs encompass both in-person arts experiences as well as daily live virtual performances, classes, and workshops via our Open Arts platform.

“I’ve been here for two weeks. This is the first time I smiled.”

— Patient, Mount Sinai Medical Center

Javits Vaccination Center

Sing for Hope became one of the most significant employers of freelance musicians in New York City during the pandemic, with daily concerts featuring Sing for Hope Artist Partners at the largest vaccination center in the world.

Open Arts

A virtual extension of Sing for Hope’s mission of “art for all,” Open Arts offers live interactive arts programming for isolated seniors and healthcare populations—a COVID-19 initiative that supports communities combating loneliness and isolation while employing artists nationwide.

ReStart NY

Leading the safe return to in-person performing at elder care facilities across New York State, Sing for Hope’s ReSTART NY concerts prioritize the elder care communities that have been hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Collaborative Concerts

Collaborative concerts take place in the public spaces of our partner facilities. By integrating the arts into the larger healthcare environment, these performances create enriching and uplifting experiences for patients, visitors, and staff.

Bedside Performances

Our bedside performances provide patients who cannot leave their beds an invaluable opportunity to enjoy a world-class concert in an intimate and personal setting.

Creative Workshops

Interactive visits engage participants in creating a collaborative work of art. Our Artist Partners lead activities that promote joyful interaction, such as mask-making, musically-responsive painting exercises, and group song-writing.

We can’t do it without you.
